Maserati got off to a wonderful start on Monday, presenting his two fastest sedans at once. The Italian logo today added the Ghibli and Quattroporte to the Trofeo family, each car with a brave V8 engine built through Ferrari.
Joining the Levante Trophy, which was unveiled in 2018, the new Quattroporte and Ghibli Trophy are daily drivers with teeth and combine impressive functionality specifications with all the practicality and convenience of a luxury sedán. Each sprinter has a twin-engine V8 of 3. 8 liters that can produce 580 horsepower and 538 pound-feet of torque. For context, the Quattroporte GTS and Ghibli S deliver 523 and 424 horsepower respectively.
This power provides the dynamic duo with a more sensitive laudable speed of 203 mph and officially classifies them as the fastest sedans to wear the Trident badge. As the Ghibli Trophy is a little lighter, it can reach one hundred km/h in 4. 3 seconds while the Quattroporte Trophy will do the same in 4. 5 seconds. The Levante Trophy SUV, meanwhile, has a more sensitive speed of 188 mph less but can reach 160 km/h in 3. 9 seconds.
In addition to the power, the Trofeo line is explained through special stylistic touches, such as the elegant vertical bars of the “Black Piano” grille, carbon fiber accents, new boomerang-shaped taillights and red ornaments on the side grilles. Aerodynamic hood with two air ducts for greater engine cooling. Both sedán are supplied with 21-inch wheels, while the SUV has a 22-inch set.
In addition, like the Levante Trophy, trophy twins promise more sporty driving thanks to the vehicle’s built-in formula (IVC) and the “Corsa” button, which releases all engine strength for “more exciting” performance.
Inside, drivers will enjoy a leather upholstery with flowers with specially engraved headrests that spell the name of the trophy. The enhanced infotainment formula now features a giant 10. 1-inch touchscreen with advanced solution and graphics (previously 8. 4-inch and still the Levant. )
If you like the arrow cut of the Trophy, Maserati hopes to launch sales of the 2021 models later this year with costs yet to come. Geez, those Italian studs bring a total novelty to the word sedan!
