Aston Martin is coming off a boost lately, with a host of new sports cars and updates introduced in more than 12 months.
Following the clues of tires of the medium motor hypercar of Valhalla, Limited Edition Valiant and New V12 Vanquish, the most recent arrival of this British logo is the Roadster Vantantage 2025.
Based on the vantage coupe that we conducted last summer, the fresco vantage has more than ever and has been “designed for genuine drivers,” promises Aston Martin.
“True drivers” will be very happy to know that the Vantage Coupe’s twin-turbocharged 4. 0-liter V8 has made the transition to the roadster.
An additional 155 hp over its predecessor confuses the new Vantage Roadster with 665 hp, as well as 590 lb-ft of torque. This allows 0 to 62 mph in 3. 6 moments – 0. 1 moment slower than the coupe – plus an most sensible speed of 202 mph.
Other improvements come with an electronically controlled rear differential, guilty of moving all that force to the road. A ZF automatic transmission with eight -speed change cams is also standard.
Aston Martin evolved the two versions of the range in parallel, but has gained a bespoke chassis tune. The Vantage Roadster ships with Bilstein DTX adaptive shock absorbers, which have been recalibrated to account for its increased weight.
The Vantage Roadster uses a flexible Z in Z folding hood, as the fastest electric roof on the market. Lowering the car’s roof takes just 6. 8 seconds and can be done at speeds up to 31 MPH.
The roof, along with additional chassis bracing and rollover protection, adds a modest 60kg to the weight of the Roadster. Simon Newton, director of vehicle performance at Aston Martin, says there has been “no compromise upon removal of the roof”.
Inside, Vantage Roadster is the latest style to provide the Aston Martin owner’s infotainment system. Developed in-house, the 10. 25-inch central display has been described as “the biggest improvement Aston Martin has brought” when our Tim Pitt led the view in 2024.
Customizing the Vantage Roadster will be a key component of the procedure for many clients, with 3 new paint colors: iridescent sapphire, satin and bronze iridescent sapphire, all now available.
The custom service ‘Q through Aston Martin’ is presented to those who need to pass beyond, adding a selection of nine other alloy wheel designs and six paint characteristics for brake tweezers.
No costs have been announced for the roadster yet, but they expect to pay a premium of at least £15,000 at the most sensible of the £165,000 requested for a “standard” advantage.
Vantage Roadster production will begin at the time in the 2025 room, which is expected to see the first well -timed deliveries for the pleasure of driving in summer.
