This means that the Kia Rio is finished and still has a smart home in other countries and on other continents.

It makes sense that Kia would rush to finish selling the Rio in the United States, as it is such a small vehicle that Americans will buy in sufficient quantities to justify its existence. The Picanto, much smaller, would not work well here.
