Prescott Valley was officially announced as Arizona’s third indoor team at a press convention at the Findlay Toyota Center.

Rattlers coach Kevin Guy and his wife Cathy were present on their 19th wedding anniversary to host the Arizona IFL team.
In 2019, Guy and his wife became co-owners of Tucson Sugar Skulls, with Cathy managing day-to-day operations and Kevin focusing on the Rattlers as head coach and general manager.
Guy took the Rattlers to three Names of the Arena Football League and an IFL name in the rattlers’ first year in the league in 2017.The Rattlers have existed since 1992.
The 2020 IFL season canceled due to the coronavirus pandemic.
“The addition of a third team to the state shows what the league thinks of the Arizona market,” Guy said.”As the league grows, Arizona is the gateway to the West.It is the best geographic selection for the league.
“This gives Rattlers enthusiasts the opportunity to take a day off to watch the Rattlers play on the road.”
The addition of Prescott Valley provides league 16 for the 2021 season.He recently added a Massachusetts team and a team from Columbus, Ohio, called Wild Dogs.
“There are 3 main objectives for which we are in terms of expansion,” IFL Commissioner Todd Tyron said in a press release.”The quality of the property, the dating with the sand and the geographical location.Prescott Valley meets those 3 squares.”
The league is in the process of finishing expansion franchises.
The normal season runs from thirteen March to thirteen July and the championship match will be played on 13 August 2021.
The Prescott Valley Arena holds 6,000 futsal fans and is a viable market after the Arizona Suns of the northern United States left the G League.
