The Jaguar I-Pace electric crossover receives a new fundamental model, at least in Europe.
The new EV320 receives the same kilowatt-hour battery as the existing I-Pace (called EV400 in Europe), with the same range, according to Jaguar’s Dutch media website.
Its value is 65,990 euros, or $77,900 at the existing exchange rate. This includes the value-added tax (VAT) of 21%, suggesting a value of about $64,000 in U.S. terms, which is less expensive than the existing I-Pace base value of $69,500, not counting the destination.
The style reduces the base value of the I-Pace well to about 20,000 euros in Europe.
However, the EV320 receives less resistant electric motors, resulting in a combined force of 316 horsepower. That’s 78 hp less than the EV400. Jaguar estimates a time of 0 to 62 mph of 6.4 seconds, to 4.5 seconds for the EV400.
Jaguar only showed the EV320 for continental Europe and did not talk about the advent of the new fundamental style in the United States. The car manufacturer already has a list of the I-Pace’s major innovations by 2021. These styles will soon come to Europe and the United States later in the fall.

The changes come with a more rugged 11 kilowatt in-flight charger and a new infotainment system.
Meanwhile, the I-Pace has already obtained updates, some of which have been reported through Jaguar’s involvement in Formula E and the I-Pace eTrophy.
Although the I-Pace does not sell well, a drop in value could place a more powerful position in the US market, and Green Car Reports has contacted Jaguar Land Rover about this possibility. Slow sales are partly due to the fact that the value of the I-Pace is closest to that of the Audi E-Tron and Tesla Model X, although it is a significantly smaller model, more aligned with the Tesla Model Y and the next Audi Q4 Tesla Model X.
In a combination of interests, Magna Steyr, who is building the I-Pace in Austria, can also be used to build the Fisker Ocean, starting at $37,499 before eligibility for the $7,500 federal electric vehicle tax credit.
