The Fond du Lac School District reports 29 cases of students, COVID-19 staff; county comes in case 2000

LAC BACKGROUND – The Fond du Lac County Department of Health has reported 187 additional COVID-19 tests since Monday, according to its Community Impact Scoreboard.

The total number of positive cases in the county was 1,953 on Friday, up from 1,766 on Monday. There are 707 active cases in the county and 14 of those other people are hospitalized. To date, 106 have been hospitalized, 1,233 have been released from isolation. and 22,901 came back negative. Virus-like deaths are at thirteen years of age.

The bookmark also divides the total number of instances in the county across the age group. A 90-year-old resident tested positive for the first time in months. However, citizens 20 to 50 years old saw the greatest accumulation in instances since 18 September, at the age of 66 and 50. 59, respectively.

The Bottom of the Lake Department of Health reminds county citizens to stay in the house if they feel unhealthy and socially leave with the right mask when they leave the house.

Anyone with minor symptoms of COVID-19, such as coughing, breathing, sore throat or fever, should call 1-844-225-0147 for a loose test.

The Department of Health updated its breakdown of cases across the school district on Wednesday, not counting families living outside the county boundaries.

Between 7 and 20 September, citizens of all ages in the Fond du Lac school zone had the number of instances with 256, representing a rate of 482 instances consisting of 100,000 inhabitants.

By comparison, the Campbellsport School District reported a rate of 537 cases consistent with 100,000 residents in the county.

Wednesday’s breakdown of individual municipalities continues to show that a handful of small and villaged in the county have the highest case rates. However, due to its small population, its actual number of cases is less than 10 in the last two weeks.

The Fond du Lac School Board, on the schedule of its meeting on 28 September, noted that on Thursday, 23 schoolchildren and six districts tested positive for COVID-19.

The Fond du Lac High / Central school counts the maximum of active cases, 4 in total. Lakeshore Elementary School has 17 students and two staff members who are quarantined due to imaginable exposure, but neither has tested positive recently.

Evans Elementary School and Sabish Middle School have an active case. Evans also has a staff case and Woodworth Middle School has two.

Two district study rooms have switched to online learning due to positive instances of COVID-19 and quarantines, according to Interim Superintendent Sharon Simon.

None of those who tested positive is a teacher.

Dodge County recorded a total of 1,782 cases and 22,659 negative tests on Friday, according to state figures.

In addition to network members, the total number of instances in the county’s 3 state prisons: the Waupun correctional facility, the Dodge correctional facility, and the Fox Lake correctional facility.

On Friday, Dodge Correctional Facility was the only one of three prisons that had active instances among inmates, with 57 out of 170 active instances in total.

Dodge County offers flexible driving tests for Wisconsin citizens 10 a. m. 6 p. m. on Tuesday and Wednesday at Reeseville Highway Shop, 404 N. Main St. , Reeseville.

Symptoms are not mandatory, however, other test takers should be ready to provide your name, address, phone number, and date of birth.

Registration must be made in sign in. covidconnect. wi. gov, or the National Guard may register on the site.
