The Fix Your Bike Voucher program is called a ‘disaster’ among cyclists when accidents

Coupons that allow users to pay a 50 euro reduction in motorcycle maintenance can be obtained on The Energy Saving Trust’s online page at 11:45 p.m.

Only 500,000 coupons will be earned as a component of the government’s new initiative to get others moving and reduce obesity rates.

Vouchers are distributed in stages, and last night only 50,000 were handed over.

But enthusiastic cyclists report suffering from getting them and is still down this morning.

The government says more coupons will have to be redeemed “soon.”

James Higgins, 41, is looking to get a coupon to fix his old mountain bike, which had dust in the garage.

Ulverston business consultant Cumbr told The Sun: “I tried for an hour before I gave up. I’m able to stay upright to get a 50 euro voucher.”

Another user tweeted: “What a mess. I tried last night for 15 minutes and gave up. I tried it at 6 in the morning and fell over and over again. The world is a mess.”

Another joked that it is less difficult to get tickets to Glastonbury than to access the coupon website.

A note on the Energy Saving Trust online page simply says: “Due to excessive traffic volumes, this resource has been temporarily suspended while we take steps to improve user performance.

“Check back later in the day.”

“The coupons are gradually being distributed to reflect the capacity of the motorcycle repairers enrolled in the program and more will soon be obtained.”

You can order two coupons compatible with the house in England, but you can only use one compatible with the motorcycle. The programme is not available for those in Northern Ireland, Scotland or Wales.

Instead, they will keep the awning of tires, brakes, saddles and lights, adding safe component replacement.

Coupons can also be used only in selected stores that have joined the program, involving giant companies, as well as Evans and Halfords.

There is a separate page on the Energy Saving Trust online page that is helping you locate your nearest attractive store, this page is also recently inactive.

When maintenance charges more than £50, it’s up to you to fund the difference.
