An automotive expert has explained how drivers can get behind the wheel of some of the cheapest used cars from the comfort of their own homes.
Lee runs the YouTube channel Car UK where he posts videos showing a variety of wonderful deals being auctioned off, some of which he buys to resell at his dealership.
In his latest video, Lee points out that used car buyers don’t need to travel miles to find a quality model at a smart price, and many auctioneers allow other people to bid online.
He explained: “I do some online bidding, which is for me, I don’t buy online regularly to be fair to you. I like to take part in the auctions and get a feel for the cars. “
“But today, as an exception, I want stock, but I can’t faint because I have a lot of cars sold, I have to be on the spot. So I guess you can sign up temporarily because we’re bidding online, we’ve already won a car, a little [Toyota] Aypass, but there’s still other parts to come. »

While Lee admitted that he prefers to attend car auctions in person, as it allows him to get a good look at the style about to go on sale, he praised the convenience of bidding online.
Before he started filming, the YouTube personality noted that he had won a 2009 Toyota Aygo for £500, noting that he could sell it after some soft paints for around £1,500.
However, motorists interested in buying a used car at any type of auction are asked to stick to a budget and focus only on the style they are interested in.

Later in the video, Lee showed the audience a 2011 Ford Focus diesel and pointed out that, despite its top mileage, it is excellent value for money at just £700.
He continued: “Let’s see what this Focus does, it’s not like we’re going to bid on it. That’s a little mileage, that’s 180,000 miles. “
