The Infiniti QX80 has been redesigned for the 2025 design year, and the full-size SUV finally gets the looks and features needed to compete with offerings from established luxury brands.
However, buyers will have to pay more. The 2025 QX80 will hit showrooms this summer with prices starting at $84,445, adding a $1,995 destination fee. That’s significantly higher than the 2024 model’s $76,045 starting value.
The new QX80 represents the third version of the nameplate. It was presented in a preview last year with the QX Monograph concept, a vehicle whose styling has been faithfully transferred to the production model. Thin hours of sunlight are placed with LED lighting fixtures that Infiniti describes as virtual keys. on the front edge of the bonnet, below which are the main upper beams arranged in separate clusters flanking the newest edition of Infiniti’s dual-arch grille.
The sides are a transparent evolution of the outgoing QX80, and the designers even retained the QX80’s front fender windows. However, the overall design is in line with the fashion era with cleaner surfaces and sharper shoulder lines. The rear adopts taillights that extend the full width of the body, and Infiniti has repeated here its key virtual trend to raise the climbed character.

The interior marks a much more radical departure from the previous model’s design. Infiniti has stepped up its game inside the QX80, with virtual fashion presentations that blend seamlessly with the surrounding spaces composed of classic fabrics such as leather, suede and wood.
A pair of 14. 3-inch screens above the dashboard, which serve as a gauge cluster and infotainment center. The infotainment formula works through Android and has Google built-in, meaning popular apps like Google Maps, Google Assistant, and Play Store are all-inclusive.
A third screen, measuring 9. 0 inches, is fixed in the center console and has controls for climate settings as well as the front seats. The display has haptic feedback, but buyers tend to prefer the actual buttons and commonly used buttons. Below this screen are push-button controls for the transmission, and the driver has additional controls on the multi-function idler.
A front-end demo is available, and buyers can also add camera monitors for indoor and outdoor use. Infiniti has gone to great lengths to improve external visibility with the multi-angle surround view camera system. A 170-degree view view to the front and sides of the vehicle will make tight parking maneuvers and challenging off-road trails easier.

The 2025 QX80 offers seven or eight seats, and according to Infiniti, there’s more knee room in each of the three rows. The cargo area has also increased, Infiniti has not provided any metrics. A forced tailgate is popular. For audio fans, Infiniti has added a premium audio formula from the popular American Klipsch. It comes with 14 speakers in its popular configuration, but an edition with 24 speakers is available.
Like its predecessors, the 2025 QX80 uses a body-on-chassis platform. For handling, engineers installed a double-wishbone independent front and rear suspension. Air suspension and adjustable surprise shocks are available. A set of 20-inch wheels is standard, however, 22-inch wheels are available.
One main difference between the new QX80 and the previous style is the installation of a 3. 5-liter twin-turbo V6 throughout the lineup. It’s mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and makes 450 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. significantly superior to the outgoing QX80’s 5. 6-liter V8, which produced 400 horsepower and 413 pound-feet. Towing capacity is 8,500 pounds when well equipped.
Infiniti will offer the 2025 QX80 in Pure, Luxury, Sensory and Autograph trims. The Pure starts at $84,445, while the Luxury starts at $91,545. Rear-wheel drive is on either model, and the all-wheel-drive addition costs $3,100. The Sensory and Autograph come with all-wheel drive and cost $102,640 and $112,590, respectively. All numbers come with destiny.
Redesigned versions of Nissan’s Armada and Patrol twins evolved over the course of the new QX80. As is the case with the existing generation, Nissan’s new SUVs will most likely be heavily tied to the new QX80, sharing its platform and powertrain.
