The 2025 Audi Q3 camouflages itself in the latest spy photos

A prototype of Audi’s next-generation Q3 compact crossover has been spotted again. It already appears to be at a complex level of progression judging by the camouflage assembly and production headlights installed on the vehicle.

The existing second-generation Q3 arrived in 2018 as a 2019 style. The redesigned third-generation styling is expected to debut late this year or early next year, meaning it’s expected to arrive in the U. S. U. S. style 2025 or even 2026.

The new Q3 appears to feature similar proportions to the existing model, which makes sense as both cars will share one platform, in this case the Volkswagen Group’s MQB, the new Q3 will get an updated edition of the platform known as the MQB Evo. .

The rest of the design is unique, as the new Q3 features soft split head accessories with fine hours of sunlight that work like the ones Audi uses for the recently revealed 2025 Q6 E-Tron electric compact crossover. The radiator grille is also a new design for Audi. At the rear there is a soft stripe that sets a new trend for the Q3.

The prototypes are supplied with a plug-in hybrid powertrain, with the charging port fixed on the front fender on the driver’s side. A mild hybrid powertrain is possible, although Audi has yet to detail plans for the vehicle.

A long-lasting RS Q3 with a turbocharged 2. 5-litre inline five-cylinder engine is also expected to arrive, possibly as a last hurrah for the engine. Beyond 2026, Audi will no longer launch cars with internal combustion engines.

A more coupe-like Q3 Sportback is also expected to be in the works. Audi has never sold the existing Q3 Sportback in the U. S. It’s unclear if that will be the case for the next generation as well.

In other markets, the new Q3 will give rise to models from the Volkswagen Group’s other brands, Cupra, Skoda and Volkswagen. The first of these will be the Cupra Terramar, announced in 2022 through a concept of the same name. Production will begin later this year.
