The 2021 Mercedes-AMG GLE63 S Coupe combines taste and substance

Mercedes-AMG’s largest and busiest crossover coupe returns by 2021, with a 603-horsepower V8, lightweight hybrid technology, massive information and entertainment enhancement and more. When the 2021 GLE63 S coupe arrives at dealerships this fall, its value will be $117050 (including the destination of $1050), Mercedes-Benz showed on Tuesday.

This is not a radical change, and the initial value of $117,050 represents an accumulation of $3,000 from the last GLE63 S coupe. But in addition to a cleaner stylus and a much more sumptuous cockpit, the GLE63 has a wonderful technological update, either in terms of infotainment and absolute performance.

For starters, the GLE63 S Coupé receives Mercedes’ MBUX multimedia system, which is discovered in other GLE-class models. A pair of 12.3-inch displays houses a reconfigurable indicator organization and an information and entertainment screen, which can be controlled with touch keys, tablets and a touchpad, or with herbal voice commands. It’s the same generation of “Hey, Mercedes” that we see in other corporate models; just say “I’m cold” and the car will automatically increase the air conditioning temperature. We also love MBUX for its trendy graphics and charming enhanced navigation overlays.

Under the hood, the GLE63 uses the 4.0-liter AMG biturbo V8 engine, configured to produce 603 horsepower and 627 pound-feet of torque. But thanks to Mercedes’ EQ-Boost lightweight hybrid technology, a 48-volt onboard starter generator can provide 21 additional horsepower and 184 pound-feet of assist for initial acceleration and smooth the action of the stop/start system. . Array All in all, the large GLE coupe can accelerate up to one hundred km/h in 3.7 seconds quite quickly.

Since the GLE63 S Coupé is the GLE, it comes with all the smart stuff as standard. This includes a Burmester audio system, blind spot monitoring, active parking assistance, lane maintenance assistance, wireless phone charging, active LED headlights, heated and cooling front seats and much more.

Look for the GLE63 S Coupe to sign up for other GLE-class models, adding the new, comfortable GLE53 hybrid, in Mercedes-Benz showrooms this fall.
