The 12 most sensitive new cars sold during the pandemic are almost all SUVs

The company has iSeeCars.com compiled a list of the 12 best-selling new cars in the pandemic.

The list basically consists of SUVs that hit the market this year or last year, adding the Kia Telluride and Hyundai Palisade. However, hybrid and electric cars are also experimenting for a while, with the Honda CR-V Hybrid, Toyota RAV4 Hybrid and Chevrolet Bolt EV also appearing.

The Bolt EV of the seventh place is also the non-SUV in the compilation. However, iSeeCar’s list is topped with another Chevy: the $19,000 Trailblazer subcompact SUV, which debuted with its 2021 model.

The Trailblazer sold, on average, in 19 days.

“Many of these best-selling cars are popular cars that are difficult to manufacture for reasons like the effect of the pandemic on the chains of origin [or] were produced in limited quantities,” said Phong Ly, SeeCars’ chief executive.

By comparison, a new car took an average of 96.9 days to sell at the start and peak of the pandemic in the United States, according to the study. Before the coronavirus began to devastate the country, cars spent an average of 57.8 days on the market, according to knowledge gained from November 2019 to February 2020.

iSeeCars analyzed more than 4.8 million cars in the 2019 to 2021 style years sold between March and June 2020 for the studio, low-style cars, heavy cars and cars that ceased to exist after the 2020-style year were excluded from the studio.

According to iSeeCars, the Encore GX offers more shipping and passengers than the already popular Encore model.

“Subaru keeps its stocks at a low level, and the closure of the Japanese plant where these models are manufactured has led to a shortage of [Crosstrek and Forester],” Phong Ly, ceo of iSeeCars, said in a statement.

The hybrid edition of the already RAV4 had a long four-month waiting list in 2019, according to iSeeCars.com.

“Chevrolet aggressively promoted and reduced the Bolt with savings of up to $8,500 on the MSRP, which helped increase sales,” Ly said.

The $36,600 GLB is more than other Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

Seltos debuted last year with its 2021 model, iSeeCars.

“The popularity of the subcompact vehicle segment due to their capacity and versatility, as well as the growing popularity of Kia SUVs are likely to contribute to the rapid promotion of Seltos,” Ly said in a statement.

The Telluride, which debuted in its 2020s-style year, has been a popular promotion car since it earned its 2019 Best in Show name at the North American International Auto Show, according to iSeeCars. But when COVID-19 stopped production, the source began to struggle to meet the main demands.

According to iSeeCars, the Trailblazer has “doubled its goals,” reflecting its popularity.
