Thailand has been unveiled as the filming location for the third season of the Emmy-winning TV series The White Lotus.
Filming will begin in February in Bangkok, Phuket and Ko Samui.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) has partnered with the US television network HBO for the filming and promotion of The White Lotus, starring Leslie Bibb, Jason Isaacs, Michelle Monaghan, Parker Posey and Natasha Rothwell, as well as two Thai actors, Dom. Hetrakul and Tayme Thapthimthong.
The third installment of the series, which premiered in 2021, set in Hawaii and followed in Sicily the following year, will be screened in 2025.
Created through Mike White, who is also a manufacturer and director, The White Lotus aired in the UK on Sky Atlantic.
