Tesla drivers in Sweden are stuck in wait lines at Superchargers stations. Tesla blames union strikes preventing them from connecting their new stations to the grid.
For more than a year, Tesla staff in Sweden has been on strike, not an easy inclusion in a collective agreement.
Tesla has traditionally opposed the unions and has controlled the unionization in its production facilities. Initially, this strike in Sweden seemed manageable, involving only a few dozen workers. However, Tesla has underestimated the force of solidarity among Swedish workers.
While the carmaker has controlled to prevent the service workers’ strike, it now feels it has a “sympathy attack” effect from other unions in Sweden.
Several other unions in the country, adding ports of ports, electricians and cleaning facilities that paint with Tesla, have refused to cooperate with the company in the strike.
Now, one of those sympathy movements is beginning to cause the owners of housing of Tesla and other electric vehicles.
Union if Metall used her influence to save Tesla from promoting new excessive meal stations to exercise tension to take them to the negotiating table, and holiday have published in X ((Nicklas Nilesso):
We’ve already noticed long waiting lines on Tesla Superchargers, but I think it may be the longest I’ve noticed.
The same owner of Tesla has published a local compressor card that showed that the vast majority of stations in the country recently require waiting times for a charger:
Max de Zegher, guilty of the Tesla tax, commented on the scenario and blamed the Union movements for having prevented more than a hundred new super-ratels from being under strain:
One of those “sympathy attacks” is becoming quite shocking, as expected, Swedish EV drivers are suffering and that EV infrastructure is rarely well appropriate unless the foods are energized through profits that save them To boost. For peak days like this. More than a hundred fucking in Sweden would have been under tension this winter, without the attacks of sympathy.
He added that there is no “transparent route” to fix the situation:
Although there is still no transparent path, we will also continue to invest and build sites for Swedish electric vehicle drivers, adding more capacity in Malung, Käppen, Vansbro, Idre, Särna and Sunne. We appreciate the public to help us. Dynamic supercharging in operation as soon as possible. Make on the line like this is super painful, the adoption of EV hurts and completely fixable!
Tesla CEO Elon Musk has taken a hard line against unions and shown unwillingness to negotiate with them.
In Europe, Tesla’s cars and superflies use CCS2. Each car is meant to be compatible with each charging station. Could those pilots not only bill another cargo network, which would probably not be affected through strikes?I guess Sweden doesn’t have enough capacity without Tesla? It seems that the government deserves new investments in infrastructure so that its citizens do not count on a poorly controlled American company.
The automaker is facing the development of declines in Germany.
It is a disappointment. As stated by Zegher, the waiting lines in the loaders are not a correct look for electric vehicles. The intelligent news is that other maximum people know that the explanation of why for this challenge in this express case is this union dispute that a genuine challenge with electric vehicles.
Now, of course, Tesla blames the unions, and the unions blame Tesla for interacting with them.
Can’t we just all be friends?
