Tesla continued to recover from last week’s generation sale as the complex of electric vehicle manufacturers at its Gigafactory sites in Texas and Germany.
In a presentation to Travis County officials, Tesla said its Austin-based Gigafactory would succeed in “the first truly extensive achievement” on May 1, 2021. Se expects Tesla to use the facility for some form of production on this date.
Another vital step in the structure reported through Tesla in Texas County is the “first drying” date of December 30, 2020. “Dry-in” refers to the final touch of the Gigaphabic to the point where it can cope with the elements and that the paints can pass inside the factory.

And in Germany, WirtschaftsWoche reported that Tesla planned to buy 30 acres closer to its Berlin gigaphoric. The land would be used for logistical purposes, according to the report.
The Berlin Gigaphabic will produce the Model Y and serve as a means of engineering for long-term advances in Tesla’s automotive range. Construction of the plant is expected to be completed in March 2021, and the first Model Y is expected to leave the production line in July 2021.
