Access to the Tesla supercharging network should be had for battery electric vehicles, such as the Mercedes-Benz EQB 250+ (photo) and the spirit, however, the PHEV are excluded.

Mercedes-Benz recently announced that the promoters of the company’s electric cars (EV) will be to use the Tesla supercharging network from February 4, 2025.
Mercedes drivers want a special adapter to use networks, since super loaders use the dresses of North America (NACS), and Mercedes Electric cars use the combined load formula (CCS1). With an adapter, they will have plug-and load capabilities in more than 20,000 CC fast charging tanks (without destination loaders).

This integration will be the component of the Mercedes Me Carga network, allowing users to access more than 117,000 charging issues on the local charging service.
Access to super-thieves should have to battery electric cars and back, however, PHEVs are excluded. Mercedes drivers won’t want the Tesla app to qualify or pay at superrator stations.
A setting in the Mercedes-Benz app will allow consumers to toggle the status of the adapter, showing which compressor stations they should or shouldn’t have.
What are car manufacturers with the EV load gap?
Until this year, other automakers’ highs have used the CCS1 port, and some have used a third, called CHADADO. True corporations run on public charging networks supplied with CCS1 or CHADADO plugs (often both), but none have as many places as Tesla.
In 2024, Tesla agreed to open up its formula for anyone to use. The built-in NACS port, according to Kelley Blue Book.
Other networks have construction of the PNA branch to their loaders. Most likely, they continue to offer CCS1 and Chadado loaders throughout them in the coming years, since those bought before 2025 will have those plugs.
Tesla needs time to update its system to work with each automaker’s vehicle. When an EV connects to a public charger, the car and charger must communicate via software to ensure safe charging. According to Mercedes, that part of the process is complete.
The corporation says that a NACT-CCS1 adapter for existing CCS1-compatible cars must be available from legal Mercedes-Benz dealers. However, they have not said whether it will be loose or for sale. According to Kelley Blue Book, some automakers, such as Ford, offer those adapters for others, such as General Motors’ tariff costs.
Mercedes-Benz’s fast charging adapter is the approved adapter.
