August 19, 2020/1 minutes of reading
An electric SUV that opposes a high-performance V8 crossover: is it a fair fight? This is the question that some of those recent drag races are intended to answer. This new endurance race pits the Tesla Model Y Performance 2020 as opposed to the previous generation BMW X6 M. But since the Tesla is not a model, the X6 M is a little modified.
Thanks to a series of G-Power upgrades, this BMW X6 M produces 750 horsepower. Under the CARBON VENTURI hood, the in-depth optimization of the 4.4-liter twin-engine V8 provides abundant additional power. The engine has now changed turbochargers, G-POWER downs, as well as catalytic converters and G-POWER V3 functionality software along with the removal of Vmax limitation.
In this new version, the monster G-Power SUV delivers 750 horsepower with 6,500 red lines and 723 pound-feet of torque. All this force allows the G-Power X6 M to reach a quarter mile in just 11.5 seconds and achieve a maximum speed of 186 miles consistent with the hour.
Obviously, this starting force shames the Tesla Model Y with its 456 horsepower. But the Tesla has an asset up its sleeve: instant torque. In addition, Tesla’s pair of electric motors says it can reach 96 km/h in 3.5 seconds. The quarter mile reaches 11.9 seconds.
In each acceleration race, several points can play a vital role in the final result. From the driving force and tires to the track and the aerodynamic characteristics, they can achieve all the results. So let’s take a look at this video and see who won the first prize:
