Tesla’s expected soda, a long time expected of Tesla, has introduced in China.
We knew the car on the road because of many observations of (mostly camouflaged) prototypes tested on the world’s roads, and it’s still not known when it arrives in the United States or in Europe, but now it must be in the maximum Asia, adding China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and Korea. It must also be taken in Australia, New Zealand and the Philippines.
There is no official announcement at the time of writing: Neither Tesla, Tesla Asia, nor CEO Elon Musk have tweeted anything about the new model. But we can go through the official specs and photographs to give you the most detail, and that’s precisely what we’ve done.
This is the model and Facelift, the first main news of the maximum popular electric car in Tesla since its launch in 2019. The so -called “Juniper” was just a code call, and is not officially used anywhere on the Tesla website , so the new edition is called Tesla model and.
However, Tesla is labelling the currently available Model Y as “Launch Series,” and calling it a limited release. This is probably mostly about availability as the company ramps up production, but you do get certain perks if you opt for the Launch Series version; more on that below.
While the new model and rarely is a complete deviation from ancient design, the car is even more or less the same form and length as before, it represents a primary design redesign. And that is a big problem, because at some point the maximum popular car in the global (electric or other), which means that there is a very giant user base waiting relatives.
The fits come with absolutely new and super slim head accessories, connected to a soft strip on the front of the car hood. At the rear, those are necessarily the new Style 3 rear accessories connected to a red bar. The front bumper has also been updated with new air vents, which are pretty much the main design tweaks. Look carefully and you’ll see new main points, such as turning the accessories of soft in the side mirrors and a front camera in the bumper, but throughout, it’s the same car, just a little angrier.
The similarities with Tesla’s Cybertruck and Cybercab, which also sport the light bar headlights, should be noted. Will this thing become known as Baby Cybertruck? Hopefully not, but we cannot guarantee it.
As for wheels, they differ depending on the region. In China, for example, buyers can choose between the 19-inch, black, “Interactive Storm” wheels (I’ve used machine translation from Chinese, so take these names with a grain of salt), or the 20-inch, silver, “Spiral Storm” wheels. In Australia, however, there’s only one choice: The 20-inch “Helix 2.0” wheels, which appear to be the same as the “Spiral Storm” variant in China.
Five colors are on offer. In Australia, the choice is between Pearl White Multi-Coat, Glacier Blue (new), Stealth Grey, Quicksilver, and Ultra Red. In China, the choices appear to be the same with slightly different names.
Glacier Blue is an entirely new colour, replacing the past deep blue metal. It is a lovely blue, softer and lighter, it turns out to be the type of colour that you actually want to see in user to perceive the precise shade.
Interesting note: In Australia, all colors are included with the value of the car. In China, you will have to pay up to 12,000 yuan ($ 1,636) for anything other than “Star Gray”.
The selection of internal colors is simple: all black or black and white. As for the seats, you only get one option, and that’s the five-seat variant. The new style should be had with seven or maybe even six seats in the future, but unfortunately it hasn’t happened yet.
Inside, there is also no radical replacement: you get the popular and absolutely circular guide wheel (there is no yoke wheel here), a giant landscape screen placed in the middle and a rumble . . . It is nothing more to look.
However, there is a giant number of new main points here if you look closely. These come with the soft environmental strips, an additional demonstration in the rear and the absence of the gear compensated behind the guide wheel, although the stem of the indicator turns out to be present.
Tesla also says that the cabin is calmer than before thanking the new acoustic glass. The seats are now ventilated and that the rear seats are electric and can be extended just by touching a button.
Only two editions are offered, and that is the rear traction and the total long -range traction. The functionality edition is missing.
With rear-wheel drive, you get a diversity of 466 km (WLTP estimate in Australia), a more sensible speed of 201 km/h and a 0-100 km/h time of 5. 9 seconds. Pricing starts at AUD$63,400 ($39,275).
Bump up to the Long Range All-Wheel Drive, and you get an additional motor and all-wheel drive. You also get 551km of range (again, WLTP estimate in Australia), 201 km/h top speed, and a 4.3 second 0-100 km/h acceleration.
The figure is a modest improvement (in Australia, the previous figures were 455 km for the rear -wheel drive style and 533 km for the long style).
Acceleration is also better: 1. 0 seconds faster from 0 to one hundred km/h for the RWD variant and 0. 7 seconds faster for the LRAWD version. But there’s a caveat: the style’s release style is supplied with the optional acceleration software update, so expect it to go when the popular launch cars are sold.
As for the batteries inside, Tesla no percentage percentage, however, it is very likely that the batteries are the same as before, and diversity innovations are due to power optimizations.
Similar to what we saw with the update of the highlands of the 3 style in September 2023, there is a long list of minors in the juniper of the style and:
The updated suspension, wheels and tires – deliver a smoother, quieter ride. In the numbers, this represents 22% less road noise, 20% less suspension noise, and 20% less wind noise.
Front bumper camera — should improve parking as well as driver assistance features, including Autopilot and Full Self-Drive driving.
15.4-inch touchscreen — a small increase from the previous, 15-inch touchscreen
8 -The tactile pulgated on the back
Improved range for Phone Key
Faster cell and fi connectivity, as a higher call quality
Acoustic glass, contributing to the aforementioned noise reductions
In addition, to the series of releases, in Australia, you get:
Heat-blast rear badge with a new logo that reaches for speed
Light Charco Badge
Doorsill Flat Filigrane saying “Launch Series”
Loading the console that says “launch series”
Vegan suede inner fabrics if you’re the all-black interior
Release date varies by region. In China, for example, Tesla says deliveries will begin in March. In Australia, however, deliveries begin in May.
As for the value, the new edition is more dear than before. For example, the beginning that is worth the oldest model and was Aud $ 60,872 ($ 37,693). Now, the outdoor start is Aud $ 68,770 ($ 42,596). It is a 12%construction: a significant replacement and an intelligent explanation why for the model and older, which should still be had, it will probably disappear when Tesla’s actions are exhausted. The price range through the market, so the value of the difference would possibly be another depending on its region. Also, when the limited edition of the launch series is exhausted, the model and normal would possibly be worth it.
There is no official word on the subject. To judge through the launch dates (in two months in the first place, and in some regions 4 months), Tesla probably does not have enough stock to start promoting the new My Masse. Tesla has no official press releases, by What we cannot obtain direct answers, however, our most productive assumption is that the car can be only in other regions in a few months.
