Team One names first recipient of Legacy Lab grant

The award is from The Legacy Lab Foundation, a nonprofit organization created to invest in leaders and organizations to make a lasting difference around the world. It is made by the ambitious founders, co-founders and refounders featured in The Legacy Lab’s first book, “Legacy in the Making: Building a Long Term Brand to Stand Out in a Short-Term World”. (McGraw Hill Education, 2018)

For the first time, a $10,000 scholarship awarded to Hall, who graduated in August 2020 from the University of Southern California’s Marshall School of Business with a master’s degree in social entrepreneurship science.

Hall embodies in each and every respect the criteria of this scholarship: a development leader committed to creating a lasting social impact in our world. After his studies, Hall would use his business skills as a force for good. It aims to create effective sustainable business models that balance the maintenance of a social mission, while maximizing the productivity (and profitability) of the company to ensure that its effect can be sustainable. She in particular needs to paint in the spaces of gender inequality, poverty and intellectual health.

“I’m reversing winning the first Legacy Lab Scholarship,” Hall said. “This award reinforces my quest for excellence in a new business paradigm: the social business. I am convinced that the social business is the productive advancement. I feel empowered through allies, such as The Legacy Lab, who are aligned with their vision of building a wider world, balancing contributions and trade.”

With the clamour for the social and systemic adjustments that are taking place in the United States, and around the world, right now, the Legacy Lab Foundation scholarship project and the vision of the next generation of leaders are more applicable than ever. The scholarship is funded through The Giving Back Fund, a Los Angeles-based nonprofit that facilitates charitable donations.

In the coming weeks, one will be announced for the 2020 scholarship programs.
