Suzuki is putting the latest spin on one of its favorites with the introduction of the Swift Sport Final Edition (ZC33S generation). This limited production model, equipped with some special touches, is reserved exclusively for the Japanese market. Despite the rumours, the automaker has revealed plans to launch a flagship edition of the next-generation Swift, suggesting the definitive edition could be the last of its kind.
Plus: The new Suzuki Dzire is an $8,000 small sedan with a 5-star Global NCAP rating
The Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition is a style standout with its gloss black grille, unique 17-inch black-finished alloy wheels, red brake calipers, red and black sporty badges on the tailgate and special decals on the C-pillars. More Beyond those improvements, it maintains the familiar appearance of the attractive hatchback that has been on the roads since 2017.
Refined interior
Inaspect, aluminum-style inserts on the dashboard, door panels, and middle tunnel feature a “thermal dimming” effect. Additional touches come with “Sport” lettering on the passenger aspect and “ZC33S powered through Suzuki” close to the transmission. The ultimate edition keeps the Swift Sport bucket seats, aluminum pedals, and red sewing for a sportier touch.
For those who want to spice things up further, Suzuki offers a range of optional accessories for the Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition. These include more pronounced aero elements, extra decals, headlight garnishes, a fuel lid cover, and more, allowing owners to tailor their vehicle to their tastes.
No adjustments to the hood.
The farewell special does not introduce any functionality or chassis improvements. Under the hood is the familiar 1. 4-liter turbocharged engine, producing 138 hp (103 kW / 140 hp) and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm) of torque. This configuration is more than enough for a light city car that weighs only 970 kg (2,138 lb). Power is sent to the front wheels via a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.
The Japanese-spec Swift Sport’s four-cylinder powertrain is electrified, unlike its European counterpart, which has introduced a detuned mild-hybrid edition of the same engine since 2020 to comply with emissions regulations.
Price and availability
The Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition will be produced from March to November 2025. Prices start at 2,329,800 yen ($15,200) for manual editing and 2,401,300 yen ($15,600) for automatic editing. Suzuki has announced that the popular Swift Sport will cease production in February 2025 and will remain available alongside the Final Edition while supplies last.
