Suzuki Swift Sport ends its career with the definitive edition ZC33S

Suzuki is putting the latest spin on one of its favorites with the unveiling of the Swift Sport Final Edition (ZC33S generation). This limited-production model, with a few special touches, is reserved exclusively for the Japanese market. Despite the rumors, the automaker has revealed plans to launch a flagship edition of the next-generation Swift, suggesting that the definitive edition could be the last of its kind.

The Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition is differentiated in style by its gloss black grille, unique 17-inch alloy wheels with black finish, red brake calipers, red and black sports emblem on the tailgate and special decals on the C-pillars. More Beyond those improvements, it maintains the familiar appearance of the attractive sedan that has been on the roads since 2017.

Refined interior

In one aspect, aluminum-style inserts on the dashboard, door panels and center tunnel feature a “thermal dimming” effect. Additional touches come with “Sport” lettering on the passenger side and “ZC33S powered by Suzuki” near the transmission. The latest edition maintains the Swift Sport bucket seats, aluminum pedals and red stitching to give it a sportier touch.

For those who need to spice things up, Suzuki offers a variety of optional accessories for the Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition. These come with more pronounced aerodynamic elements, more decals, headlight trims, a fuel filler cap cover and much more, allowing owners to tailor their vehicle to their tastes.

No adjustments to the hood.

The farewell special does not introduce any functionality or improvements to the chassis. Under the hood is the familiar 1. 4-liter turbocharged engine, which makes 138 hp (103 kW/140 hp) and 170 lb-ft (230 Nm) of torque. This configuration is more than enough for a light city car that weighs only 970 kg (2138 lbs). Power is sent to the front wheels by either a six-speed manual transmission or a six-speed automatic transmission.

The Japanese-spec Swift Sport’s four-cylinder powertrain is electrified, unlike its European counterpart, which has introduced a detuned mild-hybrid edition of the same engine since 2020 to comply with emissions regulations.

Pricing and Availability

The Swift Sport ZC33S Final Edition will be produced from March to November 2025. Pricing starts at 2,329,800 yen ($15,200) for the manual edition and 2,401,300 yen ($15,600) for the automatic edition. Suzuki has announced that the popular Swift Sport will end production in February 2025, it will be available in the latest edition while existing materials are exhausted.
