Suttons is progressing its Widnes expansion following a significant expansion of its tankers and overseas activities.
It said its £1. 5 million investment, which included the acquisition of one hectare and additional piece of land adjacent to its current site, would allow operations to continue to meet protection criteria and also provide an area for long-term development.
The land has been recently leveled and paved, with drainage and systems installed.
This increased trailer parking to 55 and “significantly improved our operational capabilities,” the company said.
