LAKE WORTH BEACH, Fla. – An 18-year-old has been arrested in connection with the murder of a 3-year-old boy in Lake Worth Beach.
Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman Teri Barbera said the injured child was transferred to St. Mary’s Medical Center in West Palm Beach.
Barbera said that when the agents arrived, they learned that the boy had been shot in the 900 block of South A.
Detectives decided the shooting wasn’t a random act.
Details of the shooting were not available.
Destine was arrested Friday and held in Palm Beach County Main Jail. His bail was set at $60,000.
