The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation, in Co Kildare, is Cannonball’s official charity this year.

The action-packed supercar display will run from September 6-8 from Johnstown Estate to Enfield Kilkenny, Wexford, Wicklow, Galway, Leitrim and finishing in Trim, Co Meath.

Passing through Circle K’s milesPLUS, Cannonball is the largest road in Europe and features the most beautiful cars on the planet, from the impressive strength of Ferraris, Lamborghinis and McLarens to the grace and elegance of Porsches, Aston Martins and Maseratis.

The new Lamborghini Revuelto will be presented in Ireland for the first time and more than 200,000 spectators are expected at family festivals that will be held from coast to coast.

Jack and Jill fund and provide nursing and respite services to children from birth to six years of age with severe learning disabilities combined with complex medical needs. Typically, these children are likely to be tube-fed, oxygen-dependent, sleep deprived, have seizures, require many medications, and require 24-hour care.

Naturally, their parents would possibly be exhausted and need a break, and that’s where Jack and Jill come in. Jack and Jill’s service operates seven days a week, with no resource testing, no documents, and no waiting list. Another key component of the service is end-of-life care for all children up to the age of six, regardless of diagnosis, allowing parents to take their children home to die at this very difficult time.

Some 290 young people and their families in Offaly, Kildare and Meath have been helped over the years through Jack and Jill and they most recently have custody of 416 young people and their families across the country.

Cannonball was founded by Kildare businessman Alan Bannon and provides spectators with an exclusive opportunity to get up close and personal with the world’s most prestigious and sought-after supercars and enjoy the exclusive festival atmosphere that made Cannonball famous.
