Subaru of America, Inc. today announced 51,458 vehicle sales by July 2020, 20% less than the July 2019 record. These effects reflect the effect of the GLOBAL PANdemic COVID-19 and the uncertainty surrounding the economic recovery. After 11 consecutive years of record sales, Subaru posted cumulative sales of 318572, 21% less than it was in 2019.
July marked the third consecutive month of more than 50,000 vehicle sales for the automaker. As the diversity of cars with the best volume performance, Forester’s sales building rose by 4% in July 2020 in the same month the previous year. WRX/STI recorded an increase of 6%, while BRZ recorded an increase of approximately 60% through July 2019.
