Subaru more than 20,000 SUV for defective wheels

The National Road Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) officially begins car reminders after receiving complaints.

Subaru remembers more than 20,000 Forestry SUV due to a possible challenge that can develop the threat of an accident.  

The withdrawal includes 20,366 2025 Forestry with safe alloy wheels, according to the National Road Transportation Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Subaru is remembering that 2025 forest cars are supplied with 18 “aluminum alloy wheels.  

Why you should care:

To see if your car is under recall, visit the NHTSA’s recalls website. You’ll be asked to enter your car’s 17-digit vehicle identification number (VIN), which is typically located on both the lower left corner of your car’s front windshield and on the driver’s side door jamb.
