PHOENIX (AP) — Some northern Arizonans were advised to evacuate Monday morning as crews battled a blaze at the site of a structure.

The fire broke out at Legado Luxury Apartment at Florentine Road and Main Street around 1:15 a. m. , the Prescott Valley Police Department said.

The scene is north of State Route 6 Nine, about nine miles northeast of Prescott, near the Findlay Toyota Center.

Several buildings in a nearby apartment complex were evacuated and several community streets were closed while the domain was active.

The 685,000-square-foot construction and parking lot design were engulfed in flames and were an overall loss, the government said.

The estimated damage from the chimney is about $60 million, police said.

An evacuation center for displaced citizens was set up at Bradshaw Mountain High School at Robert Road and Powers Avenue.
