Imconsistent withial Oil Ltd said it had stopped production in its 220,000 barrel Kearl oil sands according to day (b/d) in Canada due to a failure in a component of the Polaris diludle pipeline after the spill.
Western Canada Select (WCS) heavy crude oil for delivery in October to Hardisty, Alberta, was traded at $9.40 in line with the barrel at WTI, according to NE2 Canada Inc.It closed the day before at $9.90 less.
Light oil from the bituminous sands for delivery in October was quoted at $2.75 less than the WTI, with no change from the previous day’s regulation.
Global oil costs fell by more than 1.5%, resuming as US gas demand increased.But it’s not the first time It fell during the following week, indicating that the pandemic’s economic recovery is likely to be slower than expected.
