SAN DIEGO (KGTV) – A brief lawsuit related to a stolen BMW ended Wednesday morning near the parking lot of a retirement home.
The incident began shortly after 10 p. m. Tuesday, when it was reported that a new BMW style was stolen from Santee.
Two hours later, San Diego police saw the BMW moving west on National Highway 94 near the Euclid Avenue exit.
When officers tried to stop the car, the driving force refused to avoid it and fled. With police chasing him, the BMW headed north on Interstate 805 and then switched to Interstate 15.
The driving force left Adams Avenue, crashed into a wall and then returned to I-15 in a northerly direction.
After leaving Camino Del Rio South, police said the driving force parked the stolen BMW in the parking lot of a retirement home in Mission Valley and fled. The police found out a few blocks away and arrested him.
The driver’s call and the rates he faces were not confirmed.
