This GLC 43 is expected to hit dealerships right now part of 2023, as a 2024 model. Its big brother GLC 63 arrives around the same time.
We know that this prototype is intended for the GLC 43 due to the 4 circular exhaust tips at the rear. Prototypes for GLC 63 sporty shaped exhaust tips, a design detail characteristic of AMG’s premium models. Both cars appear in the spy video.
The GLC 43 and GLC 63 will adopt turbo-4 engines combined with hybrid technology. Yes, get ready to say goodbye to the GLC 63’s V-8.
Mercedes-AMG E Performance
The GLC 43 is expected to have the same 2. 0-liter turbo-4 mild hybrid combo that was discovered in the redesigned 2023 C 43. The mild hybrid configuration can also result in a transient increase of thirteen hp in high-load situations.
As for the GLC 63, this styling is expected to adopt a complicated plug-in hybrid powertrain in the same mild hybrid configuration as the GLC 43, but with an additional electric motor on the rear axle capable of bringing full force to 671 hp. The new configuration, introduced through the E Performance brand, recently debuted on the 2024 C 63 S E Performance.
