Chatham, 70, was killed in a two-vehicle crash in Christian County around 5:30 p. m. on Sunday.
Sandra Stauder was a passenger in a Chrysler pickup truck that drove through the driving of a Lincoln sedan at 29 Illinois at County Road East 2100 North, according to an Illinois State Police report.
Stauder was pronounced dead by emergency room staff at Springfield Memorial Hospital shortly after 7 p. m. on Sunday.

An initial report provided through the ISP said Howard Yoder, 75, of Edinburg, was driving west on the county road when he was unable to avoid him at the intersection and collided with the pickup truck heading north on Illinois 29.
Yoder and a passenger in his car were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the pickup truck, 62-year-old Kimberly Stinson of Chatham, was also taken to a regional hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The ISP reports that the southbound lanes of Illinois 29 were closed for several hours after the crash.
