We recently saw spy images of a strange BMW M4 with a constant wing and an attractive new escape arrangement. At first, we thought it was the next M4 CSL, thanks to its constant aerodynamics and more competitive appearance. However, we soon learned, that it was just a popular M4 with M Performance parts. In those new spy photos, we see this same M Performance verification mule.
After talking to our sources, we learned that the next BMW M4 CSL will have a more competitive front component with some ventilation grilles on the hood for cooling and aerodynamics. Since this control mule has such frontal aggression, it’s obviously an M4 CSL. , we are told that these are only parts of M Performance that the logo verifies before it is released to the market. This makes sense, as this would allow the sale of those parts as soon as the car becomes available.
An attractive note about the M Performance exhaust seen in these images is that the new design is strangely different from that of the popular car, with the 4 exhaust tips moved from the outer sides of the rear bumper to the center, in a kind of stacking. pattern, the new exhaust formula would require another rear bumper to accommodate them. In addition, it would possibly also require absolutely other exhaust supports underneath, so it will probably be an expensive option.
The good news is that BMW M is running lately on those parts, so consumers don’t have to wait for the delivery to install in their car. One of the most productive facets of purchasing M Performance upgrades compared to those in the secondary market is the ability to take them out of the factory, already fixed in the new delivery car, included in the monthly payment and the original car warranty, so the fact that consumers can specify those portions from day one will be welcome.
