KTM driver Brad Binder claimed his first MotoGP victory at the Czech Republic Grand Prix in Brno on Sunday, while championship leader Fabio Quartararo finished disappointingly seventh.
With laps to go, South African rookie Binder chased first leader Franco Morbidelli of Petronas Yamaha before keeping calm to seal victory on his third outing elegantly.
Johann Zarco, who got his first pole position in MotoGP for Avintia Ducati on Saturday, ended up with an unforeseen podium, while Quartararo, from Petronas Yamaha, struggled to gain grip by wasting five strokes to finish seventh.
