Green Shield Group has been appointed for a 339. 33 kWp solar photovoltaic formula for New Century Foods in Scunthorpe.
The bespoke formula will save New Century Foods almost £40,000 in the first year of operation and will result in a return on investment in five years with a self-consumption rate of 82%.
The new solar photovoltaic system, spread over two buildings, will save the company around 150,000 kg of CO2 in the first year.
New Century Foods is in Scunthorpe. Su purpose-built 26,000-square-foot facility that employs more than 100 full-time people.

“We love working in the food industry because solar PV will almost certainly be a game-changer. The solution provided to New Century will especially improve its reliance on the grid and save the company more than 150,000 kg of CO2 in the first year of installation. .

He says this simplifies the transition to sustainable responses for consumers while also allowing for relief in operating costs.
