Solar Energy Specialist to Achieve Significant Cost Savings at Food Manufacturing Site

Green Shield Group has been appointed for a 339. 33 kWp solar photovoltaic formula for New Century Foods in Scunthorpe.

The bespoke formula will save New Century Foods almost £40,000 in the first year of operation and will result in a return on investment in five years with a self-consumption rate of 82%.

The new solar photovoltaic system, spread over two buildings, will save the company around 150,000 kg of CO2 in the first year.

New Century Foods is in Scunthorpe. Su purpose-built 26,000-square-foot facility that employs more than 100 full-time people.
