Snows Motor Group has expanded its portfolio after striking an agreement to take over two sites in Basingstoke.

The south coast-based brokers’ organization is already effectively operating Kia and Peugeot showrooms in the city and occupying more places from local brokers’ organization J Davy.

The Snows deal now has 3 Vauxhall dealerships, the others in Southampton and Chandlers Ford, among its 50 locations.

Citroën joins the company as a manufacturer, and the newly acquired Basingstoke headquarters operates along a busy service and repair facility in Newbury.

The deal, for an undisclosed amount, closed this week and strengthens Snows’ relationship with manufacturers’ organization Stellantis.

Neil McCue, pictured, Chief Operating Officer of Snows Motor Group, said: “We are very pleased with this acquisition.

“The distributors are in one of our existing territories, we already set up two brands in Basingstoke, so we are confident that everything will work very well.

“The 3. 25-acre freehold site is a fabulous facility and this deal is helping what is already great market dominance for us. “

As a component of the acquisition, the approximately 40 existing ones will be kept at any of the dealerships.

“I welcome all of our new colleagues to our company,” McCue added.

“These are exciting times and we will bring another power to the company. We will incorporate Snow’s systems and processes to make it a real success.

“We have exciting long-term plans and we need to expand and grow.

“We will look to set up facilities, work on used car expansion, and we will look to make the most of advertising cars and opportunities in the fleet sector.

“It is also evident that we will provide the right degrees of visitor service that we are famous for and our network of runners. “

Both will be renamed the Snows Companies in due course.
