Snows Motor Group has expanded its Vauxhall and Citroën franchise representation with the acquisition of two dealerships in Hampshire from J Davy.
Auto retail organization AM100, which recently reported a 183% pretax profit expansion in its most recent annual monetary results, will continue to grow with the addition of Stellantis franchised sites in Basingstoke.
A statement from the organization said the deal made “perfect strategic sense” as it already effectively operates Kia and Peugeot showrooms in the city.
Neil McCue, Chief Operating Officer of Snows Motor Group, said: “We are very pleased with this acquisition. The distributors are in one of our existing territories, we already set up two brands in Basingstoke, so we are confident that everything will work. “Very well.
“The 3. 25-acre freehold site is a fabulous facility and this deal is helping what is already great market dominance for us. “
Snows now has 3 Vauxhall dealerships, with the Basingstoke operation joining sister sites in Southampton and Chandlers Ford, to which was added the acquisition of Picador last year.
Citroën joins the company as a manufacturing partner, while the newly acquired Basingstoke-based company operates along a busy service and repair facility in Newbury.
In November 2021, Snows acquired a Peugeot dealership from Hamble Motors as part of a move it said allowed the Stellantis-owned logo to continue.
Stellantis is recently implementing a new network plan that will work with a contiguous representation formula as part of a project for its franchise component base from 219 investors to 177 through June.
Around 40 members are running lately at Citroën and Vauxhall’s two new sites in Snows and M. McCue said: “I welcome all our new colleagues to our company. These are exciting times and I believe we will bring another power to the company. “We will attach Snows’ systems and processes to make it a real success.
“We have exciting long-term plans and we need to expand and grow. We will look to establish smart installations, work on used car expansion and look to make the most of advertising cars and opportunities in the fleet. “sector.
“It is also evident that we will provide the right degrees of visitor service that we are famous for and our network of runners. “
