After its discontinuation last year, the Skoda Superb returned to India in almost the same edition in which it entered. The Skoda Superb in India is priced at Rs 54 lakh in the showroom and offers the same features, powertrain and design that was introduced before its discontinuation. While we were hoping to get the next generation of the Superb, unveiled globally last year, we’re going to have to make do with what Skoda offers. This is what the Skoda Superb offers.

Nothing has replaced it in terms of design. It has the same grille, oblong LED headlights with L-shaped DLR, a sleek bumper, and a set of fog lighting fixtures housed in the bumper connected via a thin chrome strip.
The side profile highlights its length and a thin chrome stripe can also be seen on the window line. Skoda now offers the Superb with 18-inch alloy wheels, as opposed to the 17-inch wheels of the discontinued version. At the rear, the sedan has sleek LED taillights connected via a chrome strip and a narrow bumper with chrome trim.
This edition of the Superb has an undeniable yet sublime interior, now dated thanks to the design, and the cabin can be presented in a black and brown theme. The dashboard houses narrow air-conditioning vents, the centre console is finished in gloss black, and there’s a two-spoke steering wheel. The interior receives chrome elements around the air vents, on the center console, on the doors and on the steering wheel. Skoda has taken a step forward in rear comfort with the Power Nap package, which provides the outer rear headrests with adjustable mudguards for head assistance while you sleep, as well as coverage.
In terms of features, it features a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, tri-zone climate control, a fully virtual driver’s display, a 610W 12-speaker Canton audio system, 12-way forced front seats with driver-like memory. The driver’s seat, ventilated front seats with cooling and heating and massage serve as the driver’s seat. However, the Superb is no longer supplied with a sunroof. It now features Dynamic Chassis Control with Driving Modes.

On the protection side, it offers nine airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control (ESC), tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, and a 360-degree camera. Semi-autonomous parking assist assist with automatic braking.

The Superb still offers the same engine option: a 2-litre turbo petrol engine with 7-speed DSG transmission. Internationally, this powertrain will also be offered with an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system, although it is not available. offered with the Indian-spec Superb.
Priced at Rs 54 lakh (ex-showroom), the Skoda Superb has only one rival in India, and that is the Toyota Camry Hybrid. It can also be considered a cost-effective option against luxury sedans from brands like Mercedes-Benz. Audi and BMW. This edition of the Superb will also be much rarer than any rival or option, as Skoda is only loading a hundred sets of it in the country. Deliveries will begin later this month.
