Skoda has unveiled the new fully electric Enyaq iV SUV and has shown that costs in the UK will start at 33450 euros.
The style is the first Skoda to be on the new VW Group MEB platform, which also supports the VW ID3 and Cupra El Born.
The Enyaq will be available with two battery life features and a selection of two and four drive wheels.
Prices start from $33,450 (excluding UK Plug-in Car Grant). All Enyaq iV models have a minimum DC fast charging capacity of 50 kW as standard. Customers can specify DC charge rates greater than 100 kW (for a 62 kWh battery) and 125 kW (for an 82 kWh battery) as an option.
The Enyaq iV 60 uses a 62 kWh battery, giving it a power of 242 miles and a force of 180 PS.
The Enyaq iV 80 is priced at 38950 euros. It uses an 82 kWh battery, which provides a battery life of up to 316 miles and 204 hp stronger.
60 entry-level models come with 19-inch alloy wheels, a 13-inch info screen, rear parking sensors, two-zone air conditioning, and keyless operation.
The 80 adds chrome details, front parking sensors and a rear view camera. The 80 models are also supplied with a two-pointed leather guide wheel with paddle heating to adjust regenerative braking grades, variety of driving modes and a navigational infotainment formula.
Both versions are supplied with an interior specification called Loft, which includes fabric and synthetic leather seat upholstery and brushed aluminum ornamental panels.
For an additional $1285, visitors can specify an interior design package called Suite that adds leather ornaments and black piano ornamental panels or opt for the Lounge interior design package with soft grey leather with mustard yellow seams for an additional $1115.
All models also feature road signal recognition, ambient interior lighting, multifunction leather guide steering wheel and front support.
Skoda will also offer the Enyaq iV 80 Founders Edition with a value of $49995, includes a 125 kW DC load, 21-inch alloy wheels, a grid illuminated with an LED glass face and LED Matrix headlights, and an exclusive black leather interior. design package.
With the traction battery housed in the ground and a compact motor fixed to the floor of the trunk, the interior of the Enyaq is relieved of the packaging compromises of a classic internal combustion engine car. As a result, occupants are promised a spacious interior with a flat floor and a luggage compartment with a capacity of 585 liters of luggage.
Enyaq will be available for orders from the end of 2020, and the first deliveries are expected in the UK next spring.
