Here you will find everything you want to know about the new Skoda EV.
The Skoda Enyaq iV is based on VW’s MEB platform, as well as other electric cars that the organization recently announced. You can see the circle of familiar design lines in the look of the car, where they resemble the Skoda Kodiaq, Kamiq and Karoq. In terms of size, it is somewhere between the Kamiq and the Kodiaq depending on the size, with the 585-litre trunk, which means plenty of space for luggage. It’s a respectable SUV size.
The genuine replacement of those other cars is at the front, where the nose is a little different, with a shorter hood falling more as you would find it in a smaller car. There is a fairly competitive taste at the front of the car, with a wide grille and many angular details. At a glance, there is a BMW trail of this grille and those features framed in the Founders edition of the Enyaq, we hope the normal genre will be more moderate.
The grill, or Crystal Face as it calls Skoda, is something special because it is not functional, it is decorative. In the Founders edition, it is illuminated with 130 LEDs (it’s an option on other models), but it’s anything. that came here from the Vision iV concept to bring the distinction up to the production model.
There will be a 13-inch internal screen, seated on the “wing” of the board with what Skoda calls “a small nose” that is projected forward, giving you a position to rest your hand when interacting with that screen – and bringing the nose design revels inside the car. Instead of having equipment levels, Skoda says you can choose from 10 models for the interior. It will look more like buying a new sofa than a new car, but you can see that it is a natural evolution of Skoda Interior Design: lighter and more modern.
There will be a number of configurations. The smallest battery will be 55 kWh combined with a 109 kW engine, providing a diversity of 340 km (211 miles); will bring the Enyaq iV 50 badge, but it will not be available in the UK.
The next will be a 62 kW battery and a 132 kW engine, which promises 390 km (242 miles), the Enyaq iV 60, which will be the entry level in the UK.
Finally, there will be an 82 kWh battery edition along with a 150 kW engine to give a 510 km (316 mile) ride, the Enyaq iV 80, all will be rear-wheel drive editions.
There will also be two four-wheel models that will depend on these, the first adding a moment engine to the front of the 80 to 80x giving it a combined force of 195 kW, while the RS will increase with 225 kW. The most sensitive diversity for the all-wheel drive edition will be 460 km (285 miles).
The 0-62 mph quoted is 6. 2 seconds, which is quite agile, it is in the most resilient all-wheel drive version, while the iV 60, the access point for the UK, will make 0-62 mph in 8. 7 seconds, which remains respectable Everything will be maximum at 160 km/h/hundred km/h.
The rate is compatible with the general three-pin plug and 11 kW wall box, up to a fast rate of 125 kW, which means you can perform a realistic canopy over long distances and spend too much time on the evaluator.
This is how British models are distributed. Koda says they exclude government subsidy. Future electric cars: the next battery-backed cars that will be on the roads in the next five years
Orders will open later in 2020, with the Founders edition in 2021.
