A new crossover at a price will be introduced next year.
Skoda has revealed the name of its new all-electric urban crossover, as a preview of what the newcomer will look like.
At just 4. 1 metres long, the new Skoda Epiq will be able to carry five passengers and will have a luggage volume of 490 litres.
It will have an all-electric range of more than 248 miles on a single fee and will be the company’s smallest and maximum electric vehicle to date.
The new Epiq is the successor to six new cars that will be introduced through Skoda over the next few years.
Klaus Zellmer, CEO of Skoda Auto, said: “The upcoming Skoda Epiq will combine many cars with an attractive price point and a giant interior with a compact size. Our consumers need choice, that’s why we’re expanding our e-wallet development. to this popular segment.
The crossover will adopt Skoda’s new design language, consisting of a “Tech-Deck Face” and T-shaped LED headlights.
The Epiq will also be the first production vehicle to feature Skoda’s minimalist “Modern Solid” interior, which will use strong and durable materials. The interior also features a “floating” centre console and Skoda’s standout “Simply Clever” features, such as a bag. hooks, shipping items, and an underfloor garage compartment.
The Skoda Epiq will be unveiled in 2025 and is expected to cost around £21,000 when it goes on sale some time after its unveiling.
