Shocking new footage has revealed the devastating effect of a main fire at the Ron Skinner used car supermarket.
The car dealership reported (August 19) that an investigation had been launched into a fire that destroyed the showroom of the Tarfarnaubach commercial property in Blaenau Gwent.
South Wales Fire and Rescue Services were first called to the scene at around 1am on Saturday (August 17), and more than a hundred firefighters battled throughout the night to bring the flames under control.
Today, the force released a heartbreaking video showing the full extent of the damage suffered in the inferno.
The video, posted in X, shows amber flames escaping from the windows and doors of the steel building. It also shows the site that was left as a slightly charred shell after the fire was finally put out.
Writing on social media, the South Wales Fire and Rescue Service said: “We would like to thank the network for their cooperation in the incident, as well as our operational fire brigades who worked tirelessly to end the incident safely. “

Emergency services are investigating the causes of the fire, which fortunately caused no injuries.
Resident Paige Bennett, who lives across the street from the exhibition hall, told BBC News that the explosions had shaken the windows of her home.
Meanwhile, Senedd member Alun Davies, who represents Blaenau Gwent, said he had been in contact with the Welsh council and government to make sure Ron Skinner “gets everything he wants to recover and rebuild”.
The company’s facilities in Cardiff, Crosshands and Neylands continue to operate as normal.
The company also issued confirmation that the Tredegar site will be closed until further notice.
