A twist of fate involving 3 cars on Southbound Interstate 95 in Sharon on Thursday night resulted in the death of one of the drivers involved.
Around 7:44 p. m. , infantrymen responded to the crash, which occurred near Exit 17, state police said.
The guy killed Jordan McGrath-Edlund, 24, of Mansfield, and he was driving a BMW, according to police.
He allegedly “operated at full speed and made several lane changes” before colliding with two cars, a Subaru driven by a 34-year-old man from Providence and a Honda hit by a 70-year-old Foxborough man. Their cars overturned, then McGrath-Edlund’s cars did the same, in the central median.
McGrath-Edlund was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
“The operator of the (Honda) CRV transported to rhode Island hospital with potentially serious injuries. The operator of the (Subaru) Impreza taken to Rhode Island hospital with minor injuries,” the government said.
The twist of fate is still under investigation.
