Space Force’s new motto is a Latin phrase meaning “always above.”
The new branch of the U.S. Army revealed Wednesday’s official slogan “Semper Supra” and its logo, a silver delta representing the Polaris star. The head of area operations, General John Raymond, tweeted a photo of the logo, as well as data explaining the choice.
“We are building a new service to protect the Array area domain… the largest floor par excellence. Our strategic imperative is to make sure that our area works and the benefits they are offering to the country and our joint and coalition partners are still there.” #SemperSupra! Raymond said.
According to the graph, the silvery edge of the delta logo “means defense and coverage opposed to all warring parties and threats emanating from the domain”. Black domination embodies the vast darkness of dominion.
“In the delta is the Polaris star, which symbolizes how central values query the Space Force mission,” the graph notes.
In January, the Space Force unveiled the new branch service uniforms, with a camouflage variant used through the Army and Air Force and the “United States Space Force” embroidered on the left chest pocket. President Trump was there in May when the Space Force flag was first deployed to the White House.
