Semi-trucks collide on any of I-215 West at the same location; Traffic at a breakneck pace

SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV) – Two tractor-trailer crashes blocked lanes in either direction on I-215 West in Salt Lake City shortly before noon Tuesday, and traffic backed up in the northbound and southbound lanes.

The incidents occurred within 1,000 feet of each other, the sergeant said. UHP said. Cameron Roden said, and it possibly seems to be related.

The turn to the north was not so serious; A third crash involving a tractor-trailer caused hardship about 1. 5 miles south of the double crash site.

Crews can be seen racing to remove a tractor-trailer from the I-80-I-215 interchange.

Drivers are being urged to find alternate routes if possible, and prepare for major delays if they have no other options but to commute through the area.
