Starting with the Ferrari Driver Academy, Mick is recently fourth in the Formula 2 standings in seven rounds.
Now, his uncle Ralf, a six-time Formula One winner, has claimed that Alfa Romeo is selling a young Ferrari driving force in the first department by 2021, and much-loved Mick may be the talented star who deserves that merit.

“Everyone, thanks to the close cooperation between Ferrari and Alfa Romeo, would make sense to put a newcomer there,” Ralf Schumacher told Sky Germany.
“I also think they’re for two new pilots, an experienced guy and a promising pilot.Maybe the negotiations are already underway with Hulkenberg.”

Alfa Romeo, which uses a Ferrari engine, adopts a mix of veteran and newcomer driving force. This season, the duo include former Ferrari world champion Kimi Raikkonen, the oldest driving force on the F1 grid, and Antonio Giovinazzi at the time of the season.F1.
Raikkonen is brazenly contemplating his retirement despite high-level performances during the season, while Giovinazzi has largely disappointed.
Nico Hulkenberg, who holds the UN record for having the most F1 races on a podium, appears to be the ideal candidate to upgrade Raikkonen in 2021.
Hulkenberg was Daniel Ricciardo’s past spouse at Renault, but missed an education consultation this year, to be used through Racing Point as a replacement for Sergio Pérez in two Grands Prix this season after the full-time driving force tested positive for COVID. -19.
His impressive performances on both weekends put Hulkenberg in a very strong claim for a position next year and he would mentor a rookie spouse at Alfa Romeo.
While Mick Schumacher has a lot of skill, and is incredibly commercial thanks to his latest call, he faces a tough festival of his fellow Formula 2 stars.
British Callum Ilott and Russian Robert Shwartzman are also part of Ferrari’s drivers’ academy and lead Schumacher in the standings.Shwartzman is the most sensible on the ladder with Ilott in second place, while Schumacher is fourth in a tight race.
But he probably wouldn’t have to wait until next season to get behind the wheel of Alfa Romeo.
Ralf Schumacher believes the team, languishing at the back of the constructors’ championship rankings, takes a young man to one of Friday’s loose practice sessions, a practice not unusual for expanding promising talent.
“For Alfa Romeo, things aren’t going very well right now.You don’t lose much if you let a young driving force compete on a Friday,” he said.
Mick has already done it twice in an F1 car, having participated in preseason testing for Ferrari and Alfa Romeo in Bahrain last year.
Even if you lose a seat with Alfa Romeo, there is a possible touchdown position for Schumacher, in Haas, the other team powered by a Ferrari engine.
Haas has lately got Romain Grosjean and Kevin Magnussen in his books, but has amassed a league point this season, partly due to Ferrari’s lousy motor unit this year.
The contracts of the two driving forces expire at the end of the season, opening the door for Ferrari’s young driving force – or even two – to take over in 2021.
“Ferrari will house the three juniors, so that would be the logical choice,” Schumacher said.
In this situation, ilott’s trio Shwartzman and Schumacher, one of the most exciting F2 lines of recent seasons, can turn the 2021 F1 championship upside down.
Ferrari himself has locked up Monaco’s emerging superstar Charles Leclerc and McLaren’s existing driving force, Carlos Sainz, as a line-up for 2021.
