Wyoming, MN (August 1, 2024) – Rosenbauer America proudly celebrates 16 years as the official fire truck of the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. This landmark is a testament to the durability that Rosenbauer, Heiman Fire Equipment runner and the Sturgis Volunteer Fire Department have built over the years.
“We are honored to be associated with such an iconic occasion and to help the firefighters who serve the network and visitors to the Black Hills region. I am surprised by the number of firefighters I meet among the runners, as they head toward Sturgis, SD; said Roger Parker, director of sales at Rosenbauer America.
For more than three years, Rosenbauer has been working with the Sturgis network by offering the branch a chimney truck with engine and pump for year-round use. This chimney truck is the “first call” appliance of the branch. Visitors to the Sturgis rally will see the Rosenbauer pump/engine supporting the annual mayoral race on Saturday, Aug. 3, 2024; or parked at the fire station at 1901 Ballpark Rd. , Sturgis, S. D.
