US 41/Cleveland Avenue from Winkler Avenue to SR 82/Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard: Crews will be installing and relocating utilities and constructing medians.
• Motorists expect secondary road closures between Winkler Avenue and Victoria Avenue for the duration of the project.
• Motorists deserve to be expecting intermittent northbound and southbound closures and lane detours on US 41/Cleveland Avenue during the day and night/night Monday through Friday for the duration of the project.
Additional work includes installing drainage structures, pedestrian signals, upgrading signals and lighting, and resurfacing existing highway. The project will be constructed in three segments. Each segment will have most of the construction completed prior to moving to the next segment. Corkscrew Road Widening Project – Construction Project Phase I: The assignment widens Corkscrew Road to six lanes from Ben Hill Griffin Drive to Fire House Lane, and to 4 lanes from Fire House Lane to Bella Terra Boulevard. The allowance includes the addition of roads on the road. motorcycle lanes, sidewalks, the installation of new drainage, and the structure of a wildlife crossing approximately 1,000 feet west of the Cypress Shadows Boulevard entrance. This junction will coincide with a regional flow trail that crosses Corkscrew Road at this location. The Village of Estero will install shared-use trails, lighting, and landscaping as needed. Drivers, pedestrians, and bicyclists are asked to use extra caution when crossing the paint zone. Be aware of adjustments to traffic and motorcycle lanes, sidewalk detours, miscellaneous turn lane closures, and asymmetrical lanes. smooth out the task.
Use caution and drive patiently around the assignment area. Residents move in and out of communities on both sides of Corkscrew Road.

Left turns are still permitted, however they will be made from the travel lane. Where possible, barrels and other devices have been shifted to allow for as much room as possible for vehicles.
• The side promenade on the south side of the road from Ben Hill Griffin Parkway to Stoneybrook Golf Drive has been opened to pedestrians. Keep in mind that some spaces are a transitory surface. The town of Estero is under construction for shared use.
The painting activities mentioned above are planned, but unforeseen underground situations and weather conditions could affect this schedule.
WORK DONE BY OTHERS:
• GL Homes is actively operating at the RiverCreek network site off Wild Blue Boulevard. Motorists expect delays and should exercise caution when entering and exiting the road with structural cars.
• The Town of Estero is constructing the shared use on the south side of the road from Ben Hill Griffin Drive to Stoneybrook Golf Drive. Lately, the town is designing what will be expanded to the eastern boundary of the Bella Terra assets and the north. aspect of the road east of Grandezza.

Sanibel Roadway Emergency Restoration: Building on the emergency Sanibel roadway restoration by the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), crews continue to paint on McGregor Boulevard and Sanibel Causeway from Port Comfort Road to Sanibel Island. The causeway islands surrounding the transit road are an active painting. area and lately are closed to public access, adding from the water.
• From 7 p. m. on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 6 a. m. On Monday, December 11, 2023, motorists deserve to wait for ONE LANE OPEN for any of the instructions during ALL HOURS. • From Sunday, December 10, 2023 to Monday, December 11, 2023, motorists should expect lane closures during the nighttime/overnight hours of 7:00 PM to 5:00 AM from Port Comfort Road to east of the toll plaza for crews to pave the roadway.
• Beginning at 10 a. m. , motorists traveling westbound toward Sanibel on McGregor Boulevard expect much of the outer crossing lane from Port Comfort Road to the toll plaza to be closed for crews to install guardrails.
• Beginning at 7 a. m. , motorists heading west toward Sanibel on McGregor Boulevard will be waiting for segments of the Punta Rassa turn lane to be closed to traffic while crews set up a guard corps. Motorists can continue to turn right towards Punta Rassa.
• Motorists should be aware that through December, the number of traffic lanes near bridges on the highway will be reduced to 10 feet with one lane foot and one gate on each side. Oversized lots will only be allowed at night/night hours with this restriction.
• Through the end of the year, motorists will have to expect remote signaling operations, asymmetrical pavement, periodic road closures, personnel and machinery near the road, and the sale of trucks entering and exiting Punta Rassa to deliver work supplies.
Many large cars cross the road to aid in recovery efforts on the island. Please be patient as the journey may be slower than usual. Bicyclists are advised to use an interchange mode of transportation to travel on the road and pedestrians are not allowed in Sanibel. Calzada. Se expected to close the project.

Gateway Boulevard at Griffin Drive/Fairway Lakes Drive: Lee County is constructing a roundabout at Gateway Boulevard and Griffin Drive/Fairway Lakes Drive. Work continues to install utilities and construct the roundabout. Motorists should expect traffic shifts and lane closures through the duration of the project. Motorists should expect the following conditions at the intersection of Gateway Boulevard and Griffin Drive/Fairway Lakes Drive:
• Gateway Boulevard will remain reconfigured to have one northbound lane and one southbound lane.
• The existing setup on Griffin Drive will remain right turn only. Motorists wishing to head south on Gateway Boulevard from Griffin Drive will need to turn right north and make a U-turn to head south.
• There will be no left turns between Gateway Boulevard and Griffin Drive. Motorists wishing to travel east on Griffin Drive should head south through the intersection and make a U-turn onto Timber Ridge Drive.
• Fairway Lakes Drive will be closed at the intersection.
• The posted speed limit has been reduced to 25 MPH in the paint zone. The existing posted speed limit of 35 mph will remain the same outside of the paint zone.
Expect giant structure cars in the domain and keep an eye out for contractors in the field. Contractors will use variable message symptoms (VMBs) to inform the public of any adjustments to the structure of traffic patterns. The contractor is Wright Construction Group. Se awaits the task. Big Carlos Pass Bridge Project – Construction Project: The assignment is the construction of a new bridge over Big Carlos Pass, from Estrellita Drive in Fort Myers B to the bayfront to Lovers Key State Park on Lovers Key. The new bridge will upgrade the existing movable bridge over Big Carlos Pass with a fixed-span bridge that will provide 60 feet of vertical navigation clearance. The new bridge will be built on the gulf side of the existing bridge and will feature a directional traffic lane, motorcycle lanes, a six-foot-wide sidewalk along the north side of Estero Boulevard and a 10-foot-wide sidewalk. Shared-use trail along the south side of Estero Boulevard. A parking domain with access to Lovers Key State Park will be included on the southeast side of the bridge. The allocation also includes the relocation of existing infrastructure for Lee County Utilities and Bonita Springs Utilities.

Lehigh Acres Mast Arm Replacement and Intersection Improvement Project: Lee County DOT and its contractor American Infrastructure Services (AIS) will initiate 3 separate intersections in Lehigh Acres, Florida. 5. Traffic Signal Maintenance
Del Prado Boulevard and De Navarra Parkway (Cape Coral): American Infrastructure Services (AIS) will install a new traffic barrier on Del Prado Boulevard and De Navarra Parkway. This task includes staggered signaling and smoothing. Work is expected to begin on Monday, July 24, 2023, and will be completed in early 2024. For the protection of motorists and construction personnel, the speed limit on Del Prado Boulevard upon reaching the intersection of De Navarra Drive will be reduced from 50 mph to 35 mph. Left turns on Del Prado Boulevard from De Navarra Drive will remain limited for the duration of the work.
