A Guy from Dayton is on the loose after police said he stole two cars and kidnapped two young men on Saturday in a vehicle chase that spanned seven jurisdictions.
Bryon Finklea Jr., 21, was driving a Kia Niro southbound on Interstate 75 near Milepost 34 in Franklin Township when a Ohio State Highway Patrol pilot saw the vehicle traveling 160 km/h. A soldier tried to start a traffic stop, but Finklea fled the scene, according to the statement.
A vehicle chase followed. Finklea left State Route 63 westbound in the city of Monroe. The aforementioned Jonisa Reddick, 21, also from Dayton, was a passenger at the Kia Niro and left the vehicle after parking in a Kroger parking lot in Monroe.
Reddick was arrested without incident, authorities said, and Finklea fled the scene at the Kia Niro.
The press release states that Finklea’s vehicle was deactivated and stopped at the intersection of State Route 63 and Gateway Boulevard at Turtle Creek Township. Finklea then left the Kia and hijacked a 2013 Chevrolet Malibu that pierced a 36-year-old Lebanese. The man’s two younger sons were in the back seat.
Finklea flew the Malibu and fled with the two young men still inside, authorities said.
The Malibu was prevented on U.S. Highway 42. And national Highway 63 in Lebanon, he said. One of the young men was able to get out of the vehicle during prevention as officials approached. Malibu then fled the scene with the other child still inside.
The moment the boy finally got out of the vehicle in the city of Mason. Officers said the two young men were secured by officers.

However, Malibu fled police and then became concerned about a two-vehicle accident on Tylersville Road on Dudley Drive in West Chester. Finklea was removed from the stolen Malibu and then stole a 2008 Ford Edge that pierced a 16-year-old from Franklin.
An Enquirer staff member concerned about the turn of fate and recorded a video of the car theft, which concerned three top-level students.
“This is our car,” says one of the young men in the video. “They gave him my wallets there.”
Finklea fled the scene at the stolen Ford Edge and headed north on Interstate 75, he said.
The Ford Edge then discovered through Springboro police that he presented a chase, but eventually ended the chase “due to the speed of the chase and the traffic conditions,” according to the statement.
The vehicle eventually was located in a Dayton residential domain through Dayton police officers, he said. Finklea has not yet been found.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol and the Wilmington District Bureau of Investigation are investigating the incident, they said. The investigation includes chase, car accident, vehicle theft and kidnapping.
