Richard Hammond plans a secure garage to protect luxury cars

Former Top Gear presenter Richard Hammond needs to build a secure garage to space out his huge engine collection after the thieves reached his 2 million pound cross-withdrawal.

The 50-year-old television star, known as hamster, submitted plans to create a secure parking lot for a dozen cars and motorcycles he owns at his six-room castle in Herefordshire, near Ross-on-Wye.

The proposals revealed that the thieves had hit his country mansion. Hammond owned about 30 cars, as well as a Jaguar Roadster, an old Porsche and several Land Rovers, as well as motorcycles.

Hammond, who was born in Solihull, also needs to renovate the stables in his space and build a barn to buy them safely.

Richard Hammond bought Bollitree Castle, listed as Grade II, in Herefordshire, near Ross-on-Wye, for 2 million pounds in 2008.

Hammond has put forward plans to create a secure parking lot for a dozen cars and motorcycles he owns.

The plans state: “There is no garage provision for agricultural or equestrian cars and their equipment. These have been left out lately, which has recently led to the theft of tractor parts.

The owner owns a collection of cars and motorcycles that his paintings as an automotive journalist. Currently, these are housed “ad hoc” in the classified barns or in the open courtyard.

He’s more like a guy like Honda Jazz.
