Nissan contributes €797 million to Renault Group’s Full Year 2023 earnings

Nissan reported its effects for the third quarter of fiscal year 2023/2024 (April 1, 2023 to March 31, 2024).

Nissan’s results, published in Japanese accounting standards, for the third quarter of the 2023/2024 monetary year (October 1 to December 31, 2023), after the restatement of IFRS, will have a negative contribution to Groupe Renault’s fourth quarter 2023 net source of revenue. estimated at €-440 million1.

Thus, Nissan’s contribution to the Renault Group’s effects for the year 2023 amounts to €797 million.

As a reminder, following the sale through Groupe Renault of 211 million shares of Nissan announced on December 13, 2023, and the cancellation of the percentages acquired as part of the acquisition through Nissan, Groupe Renault’s holding position amounts to 40. 42% of Nissan’s share capital ( 15. 79% of Nissan’s shares are held directly and 24. 63% of the shares are held in French hands ( of which Renault is a beneficiary).
